General Terms and Conditions

1 Scope of application

The General Terms and Conditions (here in after referred to as ‘GTC’) apply to all purchases made via the volvo-sport-1800.ch website.

volvo-sport-1800.ch reserves the right to amend the GTC. The version of the GTC in force at the time of the order shall apply, which cannot be changed unilaterally for this order.

2 Products

volvo-sport-1800.ch orders polo shirts and weekenders from suppliers who finish them with real embroidery. The offer is valid as long as it is visible on volvo-sport-1800.ch.

3 Conditions of use

3.1 by natural persons

The customers are authorised to use
the polo shirts and weekenders produced for them privately.

3.2 by legal entities

Graphics from volvo-sport-1800.ch (dashboard and Volvo Sport 1800) may not be downloaded for commercial purposes. Commercial purposes include, in particular, use for products such as posters, cards, brochures, catalogues, books, calendars, mugs, T-shirts, cushions, puzzles, magnets, mobile phone covers and more. Commercial use of the graphics for any type of digital marketing is also prohibited.

Anyone wishing to use the graphics of volvo-sport-1800.ch commercially is requested to contact volvo-sport-1800.ch.

3.3 Regulation for media

Any use by media without the authorisation of volvo-sport-1800.ch is prohibited. Anyone wishing to use the graphics for analogue or digital editorial content is requested to contact volvo-sport-1800.ch in advance.

4 Conclusion of contract

The presentation of the products on volvo-sport-1800.ch does not constitute a legally binding application, but a non-binding online catalogue. It is a possibility to customers to order the polo shirts and weekenders on volvo-sport-1800.ch. An order is deemed to be an offer to volvo-sport-1800.ch to conclude a contract. The contract is concluded with the acceptance of the order by volvo-sport-1800.ch.

5 Exclusion of liability

Upon delivery of the ordered polo shirts and weekenders, they become the responsibility of the person placing the order. Any liability is excluded for goods that are lost or otherwise misplaced after delivery

6 Notice of defects

It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the ordered goods immediately after delivery and to notify volvo-sport-1800.ch in writing of any defects within 14 calendar days. Any returns are at the expense of the person placing the order.

7 Prices

All prices are in Swiss francs (not subject to VAT). The amount of the prices is defined and is determined in particular by the different variations of the polo shirts. The price at the time of ordering is decisive. volvo-sport-1800.ch reserves the right to change prices at any time.

8 Payment

Payment is made in advance and online. Online banking as well as bank or postal transfer are accepted as means of payment. The customer authorises the payment by entering his bank details, credit card details or the access data of a payment provider. After payment, an e-mail is sent confirming the purchase and the further order of the polo shirts and weekenders from the respective suppliers.

9 Delivery time

The polo shirts and weekenders are ordered individually and finished with embroidery. The delivery time may depend on the delivery dates of the suppliers and production companies. We recommend that you get the desired products at least five weeks before their intended use.

10 Data protection

All data processing is carried out in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation.

Ordering customers agree that personal data relating to them may be processed and stored. They expressly consent to the collection, processing and use of this data by volvo-sport-1800.ch. Data provided by website visitors for the purpose of ordering a product is stored. No personal data will be passed on to third parties.

11 Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law shall apply exclusively to all legal relationships between the ordering party and volvo-sport-1800.ch, to the exclusion of conflict of laws provisions and the Vienna Sales Convention. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Basel.
